Accreditation and Safety

QUEST EXPEDITIONS is a licensed provider of outdoor activities including Climbing, Trekking and Watersports. This means we are regularly inspected by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority, so you can be sure of the very highest standards of safety and instruction.

The Adventure Activities Licensing Scheme is a Government sponsored scheme, which was introduced in 1996 under the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations. The scheme ensures that those who provide certain adventure activities to young people between the ages of 10 and 18 years, will have their safety management systems inspected. Where appropriate, a licence is then issued. We are plaesed to report that we have now been awarded an AALA licence.

The Institute for Outdoor Learning encourages outdoor learning by developing quality, safety and opportunity to experience outdoor activity provision and by supporting and enhancing the good practice of those who work in the outdoors.

Adventure Activity Centre Insurance

We have insurance which covers activities such as mountaineering, kayaking, orienteering, camping, climbing, canoeing, trekking, skiing, hiking, rock climbing and many more
