Educational Programmes
Our outdoor activities and educational programmes are a fantastic way to motivate students and develop progressive learning in young adults and children, stimulating and improving their knowledge, physical abilities, self confidence, while providing students with skills needed to obtain employment and become a more desirable employee
As an Edexcel Approved Centre we integrate BTEC qualifications, and mainstream curriculum with our outdoor and water sports activities thus engaging the students in highly enjoyable and stimulating experience while achieving academically. These courses are found to engage students of varying abilities and working styles especially with those individuals whom have a preference to practical learning.
The BTEC courses are designed to optimise and improve student’s skills necessary for the workplace, showing potential employers they possess the skills and capabilities to succeed within their business. The application of these skills extends past the workplace and can be utilized within the school, home and recreational environment.
Our educational programmes require students to achieve learning outcomes through absorbing information, developing research and analytic skills, assessing tasks, and utilising their surrounds. These course simultaneously nurtures the development of soft skills allowing students to improve in areas of personal development, self esteem, communication, and mutual respect, in addition to expand their interest in further educational development.
Incorporating hands on education with fun has been the key to developing our partakers’ interest in educational subjects and career progression. Our courses are both functional and flexible and students will not only gain a qualification but will learn other practical skills through such activities as Scuba Diving, Raft Building, Bush Craft, Mountain trekking, orienteering, and Gorge Walking with natural history.
The BTEC courses can be utilised to achieve an award or can be linked to additional courses to achieve a higher qualification, building an individualised qualification system to cater for each students specific needs. The benefits of participating in our educational activities extend past the student, while each student receives an additional educational qualification, your school or college will also receive the recognition for the certifications issued to your students.
We have rigorous internal verification systems and quality assurance procedures, along with the highest standards of Health and Safety which is reflected by our certification to the Adventurous Activity Licence Authority. You can therefore rest assure all procedures are in place to deliver premium educational programmes.
